Client Access

Subscription-Only Feature

The Client Access feature is available with an active subscription.

Share a Sworn Financial Statement with a client, allowing them to enter their data.

IMPORTANT! Clients never update your file!
They update a separate copy of the Sworn Financial Statement. To incorporate the client's changes into your file, you have to import their changes.

The Process

Share a Sworn Financial Statement with a client

  • Press the Add Client Access button.
  • Enter the client's name and email address
  • Select the email option. You may choose to skip the email and share a link instead, if you'd rather send the email from your email account.

Client-Side Actions

  • Check the inbox for an invitation email.
  • Click the link in the email, create a password, and register.
  • Enter the Sworn Financial Statement data.
  • Press the notification button to notify the law firm when they are done entering data.

Merging Data

  • Go to the client access page.
  • Press the review button on the Client Access record
  • Review the changes the client made and import them to your file.
  • You can merge all data in a single click, or review each data item and decide whether to accept or decline it.
  • You can also reset a client value, to match your file value.

Actions

Select the user to notify when the client is done. By default, it is the user sharing the file with the client, but it can be any registered user.

Deactivate client access at any time by pressing the Deactivate link. Press it again to activate access again.

Delete client access to delete the client file and prevent future client access to it.
